    Bo:heap - virus or not ?

    Yesterday, McAfee has been detecting a virus known as bo:heap in my computer. It shows everytime I start the computer. The details are as follows:

    Message: VirusScan Alert!
    Pathname: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe::PeekNamedPipe
    Detected As: bo:heap
    State: Blocked by Buffer Overflow Protection

    I read in community.mcafee.com a suggestion to scan my computer using ESET Online Scanner and MalwareBytes. Are these websites safe ? Are these Bo:heap a virus or not ? I've been reading different comments re: Bo Heap, some say that it's a virus, some say it's not.

    Thanks in advance
