IF Pollard has a "short list" who..

If Pollard has a short list, who would you want on it??

A coach that comes to mind, would be the Grinnell college coach. Yes, small college, but he is averaging about 120 points a game. He must know something about offense. (I hope I have the right college)

Note: I do not think GMac will be terminated this year. Next year if nothing improve, YES. But not this year.

Gregg Marshall would have to be near the front, as well as Fran McCaffery. Tony Barbee as well, along with Brad Brownell.

Let's just pull an Auburn with the Hawks.

I know one thing. Any "list" that Pollard has involves a lot of input from Bo Ryan.

Sure, he may know something about offense, but he doesn't know a lick about defense. I would be furious if we brought in a D3 coach.

Re: IF Pollard has a "short list" who..

I'd like to see us make a run at one of the A10 coaches, perhaps:

    Brian Gregory-- Dayton
    Chris Mooney-- Richmond

    Lon Kruger

I say that more as a "starting point" than anything.

If you put him on some kind of wish list, I'd bet there are a lot more coaches below him than above him.

I'd settle for pulling an Auburn with Indiana....

My first choice would be Tim Jankovich

Agreed. I think this would be a great hire. Harvard grad, and has built Richmond into a solid team.

If I were the AD and I had an opening, these would be the first calls I would make:

    Jay Wright
    Kevin Stallings
    Herb Sendek
    Oliver Pernell

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

    No, not at all.

There is no question in my mind - none - that if a change were to be made, our HC job would be Greg Gard's to turn down.
