    Cyclone Alley Props

I don't remember what game I was watching, I think it was Indiana/Wisconsin last night, but the student section had tons of huge face cardboard cutouts of various people. Some of them were pretty funny and they were going crazy with them during free throws. It looked like a lot of fun. People like Arnold Swartzenegger (I murdered that), maybe Mr. T, people like that. Can we do that? I'm pretty sure if we could, I would rock either Bob Saget or John McCain.

    Enjoy.

I would have to go with your avatar as a cutout

Yes... I also like the giant bricks that they would hold up too. How could you focus on your free throw when you have GW Bush's fat ugly face bobbing up and down behind the basket?

As long as the cutouts are wearing the same shirt, it should work.

What is the Cyclone Alley you speak of? Were they at the game on Wednesday? I must have missed them.

what fun are giant cardboard face cutouts when you can instead wear ******* giant glasses?

I'd make fun of the other prop they had earlier as well but I don't remember what it was

I see that argument, but the students are already on campus, and could be at a game in a short walk/drive. They don't have other family obligations, and they don't have to worry about driving to a game after a day of work. At most, they go to class, come home, play some Xbox, and maybe at some point crack open a book. I can honestly see why some people with families and longer drives to the games would skip a game between the 2 worst teams in the Big 12, but studnets don't have that excuse.

It's almost like CA's props were given to them from an Ames post-prom party. Giant sunglasses, large novelty hats...how much fun! Please. CA sucks.

    Re: Cyclone Alley Props

Cyclone Alley props are a great idea! However, I forgot what game it was -- I believe the KU game -- someone in Cyclone Alley held up a HUGE picture of Ron Burgandy (Anchorman) and I believe someone from Hilton went up to him and told him that was a no-no because he didn't hold it up the rest of the game. I don't know the rule on it as to whether it is a Big XII rule, NCAA rule, or ISU rule. However, I am big fan of props!

    Re: Cyclone Alley Props

It's intentions are great but it just isn't working. The stuff they handout now is tacky and pointless. As a member, it's somewhat amusing and saddening at the same time when they hand stuff out and you see 30 different people look to their friend and say WTF.
