    K-State game Hotel?

Has anyone booked hotels for the Sept 18 K-State game yet? We got in on the hotwire deal last year and really liked our stay at the Sheraton. I know the Sheraton is now a Holiday Inn (and the old Holiday Inn is now a Clarion). Has anyone booked this through Hotwire and gotten the Holiday Inn (the one with the waterpark)?

thanks and can't wait to go!

I'm interested in knowing where most of you stayed last year? Trying to decide whether to stay out by the stadium or down close to P&L District. What are some Pros and Cons of each from any of your experiences last year?

We stayed at the Sheraton (apparently Holiday Inn now) by the stadium last year. It was great for gameday (plus we got the $49 rate so hard to beat). I think we'll stay in P&L district this year unless we get a great rate again. Cabs to P&L pretty much made up for the rate last year though.

    Re: K-State game Hotel?

We stayed at the Drury Inn by the Stadium. Great employees, free snacks and drinks during managers reception in the evening on game night. We drove to P&L last year on Friday night. Walked to the stadium on game day.
We've already made reservations at Drury again for this year but will probably do a cab to P&L this year instead of driving. Didn't make it to Jack Stack last year but will definitely hit it this year. Can't wait, fun trip.
