Mattress - Recommendations for places to purchase

I'm looking for a new king-sized mattress in the greater DSM area. I'm finally upgrading from the hand-me-down that came from my wife's family.

Anyone have recommendations as to where to puchase a mattress in DSM?

I just bought one from Slumberland. I would try to wait for a sale if you can.

I am sleeping on a memory-foam knockoff purchased from Costco. Best mattress I've ever slept on. I've never slept on a tempurpedic, so can't compare, but for the price difference, mine is fantastic.

Slumberland west of Urbandale. Got our pillow top out there, friendly staff and some good deals sometimes.

Tempurpedic mattresses are insanely expensive, and I was not aware that Costco sold memory foam mattreses.

I do and went there. I actually found a mattress at Ames Furniture (now gone) that felt nicer and was cheaper. I think it was a Restonic.

They do, and often times there will be a coupon for them in those coupon book mailers. I think the pricing retail is $500 or less. Next time you are out there you'll have to look.

Go to the old Restonic factory in Tama and buy one direct. Sometimes they have awesome prices.

And they are worth every penny too.

Big Lots gets some nice Serta beds that are pillowtop and very nice prices.

I don't know if American in Urbandale still sells them, but I bought one from there 10 years ago and it's still a great and was a good price as well.
