    work out place in Ames

So, I coming to Ames for a week during the NCAA tourney to go to the games, and to see old friends over St. Patty's, but can't short cut my training.

Looking for suggestions for places that offer week passes. Need free weights, cable machines, and functional trainer.

Almost 40, so like a place that isn't too heavily dominated by the young ones.

Just get a week pass to the Rec.

NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

Well depending on what time of day he goes.

Re: work out place in Ames

I think to get a weekly pass to the Rec you need to be an alumni association member, or you could do a daily pass if you have someone with you as a sponsor. Sometimes they'll let you in by yourself and get a random person to "sponsor" you.

    Daily's are $5 or $6 I think.
