    Alford's team #10 and 25-3

Lets man up and give this guy some credit. This has not been talked about enough. Why is it he is having success there after he fell on his face at Iowa? He seems so happy - almost like another person.

He may just be one of those mid major guys who shine under the radar...

I thought he was a pretty good coach at Iowa. His teams played well, especially in big games (like the Big 10 tourney). It was just a bad fit at Iowa having to follow Davis, and all the expectations.

Hmmm...This sounds really familiar. I'm trying to think of another coach that did really well at a mid major, but flopped when they went to a major conference team.

He had a couple of decent seasons at iowa (though I don't think he ever finished above .500 in the conference), as well. But, wait til tourney time (real tourney, not conference), and we'll see if it's real, another fluke...

I have no problem with Eddie now that he's no longer a squawk.

I believe he finished over .500 in 03,05,06. He wasn't too terrible at Iowa. As a clone fan, I was glad to see him leave.

We all need to see how NM is when his recruits get in there and play in a few years. And then when they lose, he can blame it all on them, and not one ounce on his shoulders....again.

Man up for Alford? I think not. He might be having a nice season, but who cares? He was a pompous *** when he lived in Iowa, good riddance

whatever. when your former coach is winning big10 titles for a rival, if it doesn't bother you then you might as well cancel basketball at iowa.

Shouldn't some of Alford's recruits already be on the team? This isn't his rookie season at NM>
