Bring him to Minnesota. We'd have the greatest backfield in NFL history.

    I WAS JUST POSTING THIS!!!
    this is insane!!

    COME ON PACKERS!!!

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Re: LT cut by Chargers

That sucks for him but he knew it was coming. Someone will pick him up as a secondary back and get some good miles out of him. (Some teams could use him as a primary back if they are really hurting.)

    Re: LT cut by Chargers

The question is, how big of a pay cut is he willing to take? I can't imagine any team not wanting a guy like him if the price was right.

    Re: LT cut by Chargers

With teams going to two-back rotations, he's going to get utilized somewhere.

It's always hard to wrap your minds around the limited lifespan of a NFL running back. LT may or may not have a great few years, but the odds are really stacked against him.

    Re: LT cut by Chargers

I don't want a 31 year old running back with a lot of wear on the tires. He was amazing to watch, but he'll be best now in a tandem system. His body is starting to break down.

    Re: LT cut by Chargers

This is in no way suprising. As the article said, the Chargers hoped he would come back strong after his injury, but it never happened. They absolutely need to find another starting RB. Sproles isn't good enough to carry the load through a season. At the same time, SD's offensive line didn't help him much this past year.

Hopefully more teams utilizing a true two-back rotation will increase their lifespan a bit.

I can't believe this. LT is an amazing runningback, I just hope the Chiefs take advantage of this and sign him.
