    Good Movies

It is time yet again for one of these.

I just got netflix. I am looking for suggestions on movies to throw on my list that are either older or under the radar but are very good. I like pretty much any genre.

    Re: Good Movies

Black Dynamite came out last week. Funniest movie I have seen in quite awhile.

    Re: Good Movies

I guess since I mentioned it earlier in the movie scenes thread I'll go with it again. A Fish Called Wanda. Hilarious comedy with Kevin Kline, John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis and Michael Palin. Make sure to make good use of the instant netflix feature. It's even better on the Xbox 360 (I'm not sure if the PS3 has the same feature) as you get to watch it on your actual tv as opposed to home computer.

Ya my ******* internet connection isn't good enough for my damn Xbox which I think is a bunch of **** because I never have any trouble playing COD live. I don't understand how it can a video game but not a movie. I will be getting A fish Called Wanda after I catch up on Dexter.

Try these two. The great dictator, Charlie Chaplin.
Hated: GG Allin and the Murder Junkies. I literally almost threw up towards the end of this one.

Anytime anyone asks for recommendations, I say Inside Man. Great heist film. Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, Christopher Plummer, Jodie Foster, Willem Defoe. Directed by Spike Lee.

    Re: Good Movies

Scent of a Woman - Al Pacino
The Dreamers - Came out in 2003 I believe and is a very interesting, but good movie.
Half Nelson - An independent film that stars Ryan Gosling. It is a outstanding independent movie.

I'm afraid to make other suggestions since that movie is over 10 years old
    American History X
    The Rock
    Tombstone
    Major League
    Top Gun

See if you can find Trailer Park Boys (the series or the movie). You can thank me later.

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

I tried to get into that I just couldn't do it. Maybe I will try and watch a whole season and see if I get going. I have to watch dexter, Prison Break and the Sopranoes first.

    Re: Good Movies

A Mighty Wind. Great music and hilarious cast. Its gets better every time you watch it.

When we had Netflix we loved getting whole series'. Especially the seeries on Showtime or HBO they we'd never seen before.
