Ten Things We Need to See at Today's Game

Here's what we need to see in today's game if we're going to win:

    1) Craig going strong to the hole

    2) Gilstrap playing under control and hitting a few 3's

    3) Diante taking good care of the ball and finishing at the rim

    4) Scottie finding his stroke

    5) Big Ham doing work on the boards and dunking with two hands

    6) Colvin getting a lot of minutes off the bench

    7) Dendy smiling and cheering on his team

    8) Coach Mac inspiring his team at halftime so they don't come out flat

    9) Boozer looking super fly in another expensive outfit

    10) A maybe just a little bit of Hilton Magic

Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

Doesn't seem like it ever happens until after he gets his second charge.

"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr

Gilstrap passing the ball has to be #1. Teams have figured him out and they are helping all day when he drives to the lane. I don't know if he is incredibly selfish or just doesn't see the whole court, but when he drives to the lane there is a 100% chance he is going to shoot

How about we just score more points than they do?

I don't care how it looks. Just get it done.

    12) Don't fall asleep for 8 minutes while the other team goes on a 15-0 run. Happens every freaking game.

Knowing the reason why he returned to playing basketball....for him to now realize that this team is going nowhere with only a few games left and his appeal chances slim, something like this is bound to happen. Can anyone blame him if true?

    8) If MAC waits until halftime, they will be down 20 again in the first half like they were against Okie State. This team needs to come out of the locker room with fire in their eyes and sore rectums from the chewing MAC just laid on them!

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

Re: Ten Things We Need to See at Today's Game

I think one big thing would unless coming down to the wire and it being close, we need to let colvin start playing all the minutes we can get him in there and start looking at his as our team leader for next year. It's not like we have 18 wins and are on the bubble to make the dance. We need to kind start working for next year. We need to give the younger one game time experience that way if Brackins and Gilstrap are not here. At least we did all we could do now to better prepare Colvin to really take the lead next year. Lets face it he is more our future right now then any one else. And dang it give Hamilton the ball when he has a guy on his hip, don't give it to him when he has lost position and has to make a move to beat his guy.

do we start alex dorr too???

how can McDermott sell it to guys like brackins or gilstrap, who in all liklihood won't be here next year, that they're going to give up on winning all together and try to develop younger guys? that's the way to get people to buy into you and your system
