I was just going to add that. Seems like he misses 1 or 2 chip shots every game. Otherwise, he's been great and a huge spark. Unfortunately not enough.

That will come. Right now he just panics a little. The more experience he gets the more comfortable he will be. I look forward to seeing it.

He's a very good player. Probably more fundamental sound that any other starter.

Ham is his own player and not trying to say he needs to be like someone else. But do want to say that if he can develop a killer attitude and play with a chip on his shoulder (which I am seeing progress towards) he might be the best pro prospect on this team.

If he can make progress like big guys tend to do through his junior and senior years, he could be very, very good before he's done.

Hamilton finishes better around the basket at this point than anyone on this team. Christopherson is a close 2nd...

The rest are performing pretty pathetically.

Someone else starting to notice..wow. I really think CB needs to throw up some more ill advised shots and not get the ball to Ham.

Re: Justin Hamilton over last 6 games

Sometimes Ham gets the ball at the 3 point line and there literally isn't anyone 6-8' close to him and he doesn't even look at driving or driving a little and pulling up for a jumper. Maybe he just isn't comfortable with that shot.
Other than that, I have season tickets and he has grown a lot. He is doing a ton more work around down by the rim than at the beginning of the year. Keep it up Ham, we love ya workin' down there.

Probably just as likely that he becomes one of the best three point shooters in ISU history. Its really hard for players to just change their attitude and style of play like that. It certainly would be nice to see though.

Re: Justin Hamilton over last 6 games

The thing I've been most impressed about Ham this season is that during pregame warmups, he's usually one of, if not, the only player that takes free throws because he knows that he needs the extra practice. He's obviously less than perfect from the line, but right now we're shooting 0.643 as a team so obviously we're not doing enough work in that aspect during practices. He's still shooting better than Dendy, DG, and Gil though...gonna be a great player the next couple years if he continues to improve like this!

Re: Justin Hamilton over last 6 games

He is getting a lot better and in the future he will be a force inside. I think they need to look to get him the ball more. He does need to learn how to dunk better.
