Kind of bad, but we've had more losses at home in the last 3.67 seasons than the previous 7 combined..

    Re: Home Losses History

Not going to try and make excuses, but this year we did lose to
    1) Texas
    2) (technically #1 in next ranking) KU
    8) Kstate
    Top 20 UNI team
Then to a tourney Okie State team tonight that I felt we had.

Needs to start winning at home again, though. The stats are telling.

Maybe we need a new practice facility. New uniforms? Ali from UNI to be our point guard? Johnny Lickliter could transfer?

They probably would not have been a tourney team had ISU beat them...

    Ouch. Truth hurts sometimes.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

You have a good point, but once upon a time we did beat those teams at home. We just need to start winning again, period.

. . . but . . . also beat freaking Houston in OT, CU by a point, and got a 2 point gift from god against NDSU. Yes, I know, a win is a win.

Gee another thread on how bad the BB team is.

Kind of lame to consider Texas as #1 at this point in time. They're not even a top 15 team. And UNI isn't close to a top 20 team. Their best win of their season is...well...against ISU. And Okie State is barely a top 50 team.

    Wow...

    Lynn Nance > Greg McDermott

in terms of not losing as many home games.

    Wow.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

I tried to tell you guys that Lynn Nance (ex fbi agent nance) was a DANDY!!!

Can you spell e-m-p-t-y ........hilton coliseum??? That was the fate of lynn nance and then he was always griping about nobody showing up to the games!!

What really looks bad about those numbers is that back in those days we only played seven home games!!! Nance always at least managed to win ONE HOME game a year
