AMES, Iowa – Iowa State Volleyball All-Americans Victoria Henson, Kaylee Manns and Ashley Mass will be taking part in the U.S. Women’s National Team Open Tryout Feb. 19-21 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Henson and Mass will be competing for a spot in the A2 program, while Manns will be vying for a place on the U.S. National Team.

Henson, one of 41 outside hitters attending the tryouts, posted 4.14 kills per set to lead the Cyclones as a junior. The Leavenworth, Kan. native hit .239 and earned third-team American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America honors. She was named to the All-Big 12 first team for the second time in her career. Henson was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors three times and AVCA National Player of the Week honors once last season. She was the only player in the Big 12 to record 400 kills and 300 digs this season.
