    2010 Season Tickets

Why do the endzone season tickets not go on sale until May 20th? Is it so NCC members can buy them first if they wish?

it's because they will not have finished bowling it in till then, so they have not yet completed the seating

    Re: 2010 Season Tickets

I don't think you need to be an NCC member to get those, but they allow people to renew before offering remaining seats for sale. I think they sold out the first year they offered them, so there are very few new seats available there each season. My parents bought them for a couple years before we started splitting the cost of NCC/season tickets.

Makes sense, My bro has bought them for all of us for the last 4-5 years and I thought this year I would buy them. Guess I will have to continue to have him do it.

    Re: 2010 Season Tickets

I just looked at the 2011 home sched. If this year turns out as I expect, 6+ wins, I bet those season tickets will be much pricier. Texas, Oklahoma, and Iowa all at home. Happy to pay it.

Last year was $350 for 6 home games ($58.33 per game).

This year is $375 for 7 home games ($53.57 per game).

EDIT: Also noticed the payment plan option. Has this always been around?

I know they had it last year, but not sure before that.

    Re: 2010 Season Tickets

Pretty sure those are sold out on a full season basis so they have to wait till all the renewals come back to see if there will even be any to sell.

Yep, they like to play the 'per game' game. Next year, when it drops back to 6 home games, the price will stay the same (raising the per game price). Then the following year, when its at 7 again, the price will be raised again, but the per game price will stay the same or slightly lower, but higher overall cost.

If you don't like it, don't buy any. That's the easiest way to make your opinion known (other than complaining about it on a message board).

Not sure he is complaining (although he may be)...just stating what has proven the case the last few years.

I have no problem with the pricing structure. Definitely something for everyone. I think ISU goes above and beyond with ticket options compared to most schools.
