I'll trade you a 2000 Impala LS straight up for it.

j/k. I like my Impala, but I'm kind of interested in trading it in later this year for a new Impala SS. Still waiting to hear how well the new "displacement on demand" V8 works though.

I'm looking at maybe getting a 2007 Monte Carlo SS this summer that has this V8 engine in it. From what I have read on reviews is that when in 4 cyclinder mode on the highway you get great mileage but in town when you will mostly be in 8 cyclinder mode you get about what expected for a V8 for city miles. I think this engine is rated 18/28 for city/highway miles which is probably roughly what my V6 Grand Am gets on a good day so I'll take the added horsepower. Besided, if you are going to get a Monte you are best going with the SS model anyways.
