    Hawaii has peaks up to 13k ft. They usually have snow on them at some point during winter, just not now.

    I remember a show on the history channel talking about a mini-iceage in colonial times. I wonder if we're going to have another situation like that. It's so strange to see so much snow in the US, but then to have concerns about snow in Vancouver.

    Actually surprised they don't, visited Mauna Kea in mid March a few years back and there was some decent snowcover at the top.
