A Suggestion to all ISU MBB fans

FSN will likely re-broadcast the WBB game with Baylor at different times this week. If you did not get to watch it the first time, I would suggest taking some time and watching it. Great demonstration of teamwork, playing help defense, rebounding, shooting (obviously) and executing a coach's game plan. Even if you are not a fan of WBB, still a great watch.

23 assists on 25 baskets. Amazing! And it was done by playing basically 8 players! Wow!

    Just a thought.

Agreed. It is time to shift money, effort, and time to the program that deserves it.

Not to mention the total shut down of Baylor freshman Phenom...

"Griner didn't get her first rebound until the 12:38 mark and she didn't score until sinking two free throws with 8:54 left in the half. By the time she got her first basket, a layup at the 6:38 mark after Prins fell down, Iowa State was up 20."

"Griner, coming off two straight triple-doubles, managed only 10 points, seven rebounds and four blocks."

Definitely a masterpiece of coaching.Twitter Greg and tell him he needs to step up his game tonight to match the gals. Tell him we know where to find some three point shooters for his team.

I sure hope you let someone else invest your money. Football and Men's basketball are the engines that drive the department. Women's basketball loses money at every school in America (UConn and/or Tenn might make a little money). Moving resources from a profiting department to a losing one (with little profit potential no matter how much success on the court) would drive the AD into the red faster than KU can score on us.

Only a Vikings fan would suggest that MBB Fans should watch and not our lost MBB Coach! PS: I was there.

I'm at the point where I'm a bigger women's fan than men's. I can't stand watching our men.... chickens can play better basketball.

Good for you! Some of us are only able to watch it on TV. Not sure what relevance that has to the conversation, but whatever. Also, not sure what my following the Vikings has to do with anything, but guess only a Bears fan could understand that.

The reason I think ISU MBB fans should watch is to see a team perform and execute well. Great demonstration of how much coaching means, even when a team is not all that experienced and uses a limited number of players.

But don't worry. I really don't expect a Bears fan with 2 posts to comprehend that.

Re: A Suggestion to all ISU MBB fans

yeah let's give our money to the WBB program that'll show um! When people start talking smack to us we can just brag about our WBB team!!!! WOOO!!!!
This is crazy, I support the teams that make the money and that people outside of ISU actually notice. Stop watching MBB games=loss of $$=bigger setback=longer time until people on here are sane again

The ONLY reason to watch part of the game today was to see if BG would dunk. Unfortunately we triple teamed her.

Maybe he was just suggesting that some of the MBB fans that don't follow the womens program, should watch a good team effort from a Cyclone team. It was a amazing game and should be watched by anyone who calls themselves a Cyclone fanatic.

So the only reason to watch the game was to see a non ISU player? What kind of Cyclone fan are you? You actually sound disappointed that our players were able to shut down a good player on the other team.
