Sportsnation is having a bracket of the top 16 posterizations. Pretty sweet dunks to watch. I remember seeing 4 or 5 of those on tv. My pick would have to be the John Starks' dunk.

Hard to pick. Starks on the bulls was great if you take into consideration the game that it was in, I think that was the same series where Oakley i beleive was fouled about 8 times under the basket but nothing got called. Also KJ on the Dream was pretty good. I wish they would include the olympics, the best dunk ever, hands down:

That guy was around six ten.

Was gonna say the same, you beat me to it. And I think the other guy was at least 7 feet tall.

Yeah he was, Frederic Weiss spell?, listed as a 7 footer, if you google image that dunk, the pictures are amazing. He is atleast 10 inches over his head even if he was standing straight up. Insane. Just another American handing it to the French.

'Nique over Bird in the '87 playoffs I believe. The Altanta crowd collectively poops themselves after this.

Funny thing about this.....just went and voted on quarterfinals and it looks like the semis are gonna be, 2 dunks from '92, 1 from '94, and 1 from '91. Ah the golden age of the dunks.

    Re: Posterized

I miss the days of the Bulls/Knicks rivalry. Ewing getting posterized both by Jordan and Pippen! I remember the Bulls hated the Knicks so much that when they made the trade for John Starks in what was basically a salary dump that Starks was booed by the Bulls fans every time he touched the ball. He lasted just 4 games as a Bull before being cut.

How big of a waste did Shawn Kemp end up being? There has still never been a power forward with his raw athleticism.

I think he could have been special if they had kept him and Payton together. That trade screwed up all three of those teams. I can't even remember who the Bucks got from the Cavs. Cassell?
