    Music thread: Your favorite...

What is your favorite all time Hard Rock/Alternative/Metal/Grunge Song or band of all time?

    My favorite band is KISS.
My favorite song of all time is Everlong

My favorite 'obscure' band is Outhouse. They opened for KISS in Ames in 1997 and they rocked, I love their CD titled Welcome.

I didnt love them, but their Unplugged Album was superb... Alice n Chains.
But the Metallica black album takes me back to when I was about 12 years old. The family was driving down to Stone Mountain, GA to see Family. All I had was the black album and MC Hammers "Cant touch this" tape. Dont know how many times I had to flip from side to side on each tape.

Alice in Chains, by far....I have listened to a lot of grunge music, even the obscure **** and full albums. Seriously AiC is by far the best. So many good songs, tons of them that never and will never be played on the radio. Plus, they're amazing in concert. Just saw them in September(?) of last year before they released their last album and it was amazing.

My favorite "obscure" song too is Fresh Tendrils by Soundgarden. That song kicks major ***

Seriously though I have so many favorite hard rock/alternative groups it's not even funny but AiC is by far one of my favorites.

Alternative wise though, maybe Jeff Buckley. Complete musical genius, died WAY too early via an accidental drowning. Just absolutely amazing.

Nirvana is my second favorite band. Can't wait to see them when they tour this summer.

I delivered pizza for Godfather's in Ames in the late 90's so I heard LOTS of songs on the radio. So many one hit wonders.

    Anyone remember Harvey Danger?

My favorite band is also Alice in Chains. My favorite song is Sickman by AIC. My favorite obscure band is black rebel motorcycle club. BRMC is just simple rock and roll. I will be seeing Alice in Chains on Feb 21 in Kansas City and I am pumped.

BRMC is also among my favorites. My wife and I went to a concert of theirs in Omaha, and they really should be more prominent. You do hear a lot of their music in commercials if you're paying attention though.

Metallica's Double Live CD with the Symphony. Loved it when I got it years back and I still listen to it. There is not a bad song on the entire album.
