    What have things come to?

Was just flipping through the menu on my TV and saw a the title Billiards. Thinking maybe it was a name of a movie I clicked on it. No it wasn't a movie, it was people playing pool. That's right, pool on TV.

ESPN has shown pool on TV for years.

I haven't had ESPN since 2003. I think I'll upgrade this fall and will get most of the sport channels. The thing is that this was a local deal and cheaply done.

If you want to get really discouraged, watch the pro bowlers. They seem to think that they need to inject some attitude and excitement into it now (as if that is possible). It makes it almost as funny as watching Kingpin.

I believe that I saw arm wrestling on at some point. If you really want to see what kind of bad programming is out there, watch the Soup. It'll pretty much run down the worst of the worst.

Isn't that funny. They take themselves way too seriously.
