    Project 20/20

Anyone else heard about this? It's a new restaurant/bar opening in Campustown. I just saw info about it tonight and supposedly the grand opening is tomorrow night. Have I just been missing everything about this? I guess it's an asian food/dance club type of bar.

    Yes former Bali location.

Bar/Resturant/Dance Club but I don't think it's "Asian" based. Two ISU students bought it.

Roomate went there for lunch today, said the menu for lunch was the same as Bali. Apparently they redid the bar which is now a glass bar with lights that change color.

    Re: Project 20/20

Yeah, two ISU students bought it and renovated the place; one of them is a friend of mine. The guy that used to own the Bali (can't remember his name; nice old guy) didn't want to run a business anymore, but didn't want to sell the place to just anyone. They totally redid the bar area, but they're keeping the menu more or less the same. They have made some upgrades to it, but they're still serving Chinese, Thai and a little bit of Korean. The food is Asian, the rest of the place is not. Basically, they're trying to give Element a run for their money. They certainly have an edge on Element in terms of facility and visibility; now they just need to get a few big events in there to really snag some regulars.

    True and Valiant

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

20/20 vision and beer goggles do not mix! Unique name for a bar.

Loved the Bali and the owner was a nice guy.

Ewan or Iwan is his name. Don't know how to spell it. He's wanted to sell for quite awhile. Glad the food is the same. Is he still involved in some way?

It's called Mother's Pub now, remodeled and much nicer.
