PITTSBURGH, Penn.—The No. 13 Iowa State gymnastics team was far from its best Friday night in the Fitzgerald Field House, and the Cyclones lost one of their top all-arounders halfway through the four-team competition. However, ISU had to settle for a second-place finish with a score of 195.125. Host Pittsburgh (195.175) took first, while Rutgers (189.300) and SUNY-Brockport (188.350) rounded out the competition.
