    Signing Marmol----Good.

    Opening Day unseen on WCIU----Stupid.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

    Re: Cubs, Marmol finally agree

if i counted right, there are only 8 games this season that are on wciu. it would be nice to see the opener, but if i recall, that is far less than last season. and this season i'll remember that i can get comcast+ instead of realizing it in september like last year.

That should be enough to finish second in the central.

Cubs need to add another bat, Lee and Ramirez are not what they once were and trading Fox was stupid. Who is in the back end of the rotation?

Is that on Mediacom is Des Moines that you're talking about, or one of the satellite services?

Don't look for any more additions except maybe a cheap arm for the bullpen. Cubs are hoping to catch lightning in a bottle with Nady,Byrd, and Tracy. Soriano would be the bat they sorely need if he can regain his form again. If not it is going to be a long summer....

oh yeah. D-Lee totally isnt what he used to be. He only hit .306 with 35 HR and 111 RBI last year and A-Ram hit .317 with 15 HR and 65 RBI in just 82 games. Nope they are totally falling off. D-Lee and A-Ram are the least of the cubs concerns. We Soriano and Soto to play to their abilities.

directv. the only time i get comcast+ is when there is a sports game on. the rest of the time, it doesn't come it. but i am not sure if the only programming on comcast+ is sports games. i don't subscribe to it, i know that, at least.

    good to hear on Marmol.

and to the Lee and Rami comments. You can't be serious. Health and durability maybe, but that has been for their carreers and not just at the age they are at. Staying healthy is what the cubs need. more than anything, followed by some consistant batting protection for Lee and Rami.

That's what I figured. That's definitely one thing I miss about eastern Iowa, is being able to watch all of the Cubs games on Mediacom (other than WCIU games).

Marmol is the reliever version of Zambrano. Both have tremendous talent but are head cases.
Yes I am a Cubs fan, and I would take both given what I've stated.
