    Alford's new blog

Alford is trying to show he's a man of the people in NM. He has his own blog, GoLobo's.com. He says he's thrilled with NM because somebody named a salsa after him. The wife and kiddies are sooo exicited! Turns out Iowa could have kept him if only they had named a cooked ham after him. Of course it would be a greasy ham.

I also see he gets to throw out the first pitch at the Lobos-Isotopes exhibition. Think he'll throw 'em a curveball and wear a hat?

roflcopters. that's gotta rank up there with being an all-american and olympian. i just can't think of much else that stacks up with throwing the first pitch at an isotopes game. if only we could have gotten him to throw out a pitch at a cedar rapids kernals game.
