a thought on mattison. though it is really needless to temper excitement, i am leery of recruits of test off the charts and still don't garner interest from many college coaches. remember travis ferguson and how everyone said what a physical freak he was? then he didn't really contirbute until his senior year.

it takes a lot more than physical ability to make a great football player. not saying floyd won't be, but testing only tells so much. granted mattison does have a few offers from bcs level schools, ferguson did not.

    you just never can tell

Re: Outside the men's room: It's all in the stars?

My biggest beef with the current setup or with how the bracket would look should they just add three more play-in games is with what teams are selected for the play-in games. I love that in college basketball the “little guys” get in and get their chance. I hate that those little guys get thrown into the play-in game that isn’t really apart of all the madness. I would prefer we take the last two at-large teams from “BCS conferences” and let them play in that game where the winner gets the final at-large slot as a 12/13 seed.
    I couldn't agree more.
