I agree with that, but I would put Willoughby in place of Sullivan.

You could almost put Cato into that Lineup and take out Gilstrap. That'd be a hell of a line up

Not sure you can have a 'best of' without Barry Stevens, Fred Hoiberg and Jeff Hornacek. Go real old school and include Gary Thompson.

    Re: Best Cyclone Lineup ever

I'm not sure guys who are still playing at ISU should be included. FYI, Don Smith, who played here in the late 60s and then went on to a long pro career under an Arabic name, was a great big man. I also don't know how anyone could leave out the Jeffs, Hornacek and Grayer, who also had long pro careers. Jeff H. was actually an All-Star one year, if my memory is not faulty. Maybe you should list an entire roster, say 12 or 15 guys?

Grayer is probably the best player to ever play at ISU. He would have been a very good NBA player if injuries didn't cut his stint short.

Not trying to be negative, but there is no way Brackins would even be in the conversation for me with a top 5. He is way too soft and does not go 100% at all times.

Zaid Abdul-Aziz who is my favorite player of all time. Saw him play in college but not once did I get to see him as a professional either in person or on TV.
Another one of my favorites was Hercle Poison Ivy.
I don't think there is any way I could ever settle on a starting five and not change my mind five minutes later.
