MANHATTAN, Kan. – The 18th-ranked Iowa State women’s basketball team trailed by two with 5:45 to go in the contest, but Kansas State responded with a 7-0 run that pushed them to a 73-67 win Sunday afternoon at Bramlage Coliseum. The loss snapped a four-game win streak by the Cyclones and was KSU’s first win in its last four contests.
The Cyclones dropped to 16-4 overall and 4-3 in the Big 12, while Kansas State improved to 11-9 overall and 3-3 in the league.
