Man, that is disappointing, and it is amazing how close those scores get.

Eh, a 0.375 difference in the final score isn't that close. It'd be approximately like losing by 8 in a basketball game. Yeah, you're close enough that a quick shift in luck could get you the win, but it's not a last-second nailbiter. At the D-I college level, getting beat by 3.5 points is an absolute curbstomping.

BYU is (0-5) so a win there was expected. Too bad we lost to Michigan; that probably shouldn't have happened. Our gymnastics team always has incredibly brutal schedules: last season, we started off (0-7), then beat Minnesota (our only unranked opponent all season), and lost the final 3, for a (1-10) regular-season record. We were ranked in the Top 25 the entire time. That's how hard our schedules are.

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

I was at the meet. Michigan killed it on the Beam and that was the difference. Our floor routine was the highest scoring event for any team there. We made a couple mistakes on the bars and it hurt us. If we compete against Michigan again I think we will come out on top...
