    DVD copy software

I have a family member that has about 0% computer knowledge. She has some home movie DVD's (not encrypted). Just just want to make straight copies of these DVD's. She is on Windows 2000. Can anyone recommend some free basic software for beginners?

    Re: DVD copy software

For non-encrypted DVDs you can use just about any burn engine like Nero or Ashampoo. Check out cnet.com on the download tab and search for DVD copy software. There might be some freeware out there, but if not Ashampoo has been selling a lot of their software titles for only $10.

CDBurnerXP should do the job of just copying a DVD.

AnyDVD and Handbrake for those that are getting serious about ripping DVD's to their home computer....
