    Re: Warner to retire Friday?

My heart hopes he stays another year but my mind tells me he's done. Good luck Arizona with Matt Leinart at the helm!!! You're gonna need it!!!

You posted this in the NBA forum. A mod moved it for you. It's not funny anymore.

    Re: Warner to retire Friday?

I think he will be back for 1 more year. The Cardinals definitely need it, and I think w/ Boldin having 1 year remaining it will make a difference.

    Re: Warner to retire Friday?

Why would he leave, concussions? I suppose he is a family guy and may just want to move on. Seems though that he's probably got a few less miles on him than other NFLers his age.

Nothing to see here mods. Keep moving.

    Re: Warner to retire Friday?

I think he's done, and he has certaintly earned that right. He wants to be there for his family and with his 4th or 5th concussion he is worried about the implications later in life. I would like to see him play more as a fan but he should retire for health reasons.

    Re: Warner to retire Friday?

I really, really want him to stay. This is the first time I've ever cared about someone retiring for a team that isn't the Vikings.

    Re: Warner to retire Friday?

I would love to see him play another year, but I also wouldn't mind if he retired to spare his health and spend time with his family.

    Re: Warner to retire Friday?

Like most of you, I'd like Warner to play at least one more year, but it seems that isn't likely now unfortunately.

Who can blame him if he does in fact leave. He has a wife and family he obviously cares a lot about and a oil tanker full of mad money. He's put himself in the position to live a dream life from here on out and I admire him for that.

Were gonna miss you Kurt, but this only means you'll get into the hall of fame that much sooner.
