I am building one myself right now. I am building the cabinets, doing the plumbing, installing the countertops, etc all myself. and sourcing parts on clearance/sale as they come along.
For example, using spare materials I found on craigslist like a granite top that somebody had extra from another project) I think I got about $500 in the project (Including the fridge, which I found on clearance at Lowes)
The bar measure about 75" long.
I just started building, but it wont be too difficult. Its not going to be anything super exotic, but a nice little project for the basement to help the room appeal
