No one can argue this has a good chance of happening!

We win our next 2 games putting us back to .500 and setting us up for an ncaa bubble birth. OU is as beatable as Texas Tech (who we easily could've beaten) and CU at home SHOULD be a nice win. I'd be happy with 3-3!

At this point it would be a nice place to be and a fresh start in the conference.

I think saying we have a good chance to go 2-0 this week is a bit of a stretch, but it's possible. I think we lose at OU, then defeat Colorado. But who knows?

I don't know what talking about winning a couple of games and being in line for an NCAA bubble birth does if we can't start winning consistently and at least putting up a good fight against the better teams at home.

I'm with EddieISU here, first lets win the next game. Then lets think about who's next.

Re: No one can argue this has a good chance of happening!

We would have to finish at least 9-7 in conference play to be considered... we have no big wins this season. SOOOOO that means we need to go 8-4 in our next 12 games. Still think we have a shot at the postseason?

I'm pretty sure how this ends.

I haven't seen anything which tells me we beat OU. We'll lose there, and then hopefully beat CU at home. My guess is it'll be a tough game. They play hard.

Re: No one can argue this has a good chance of happening!

I think any rational person could easily argue that we won't win our next two games. Winning at OU on the road is going to be practically impossible for this McD coached team. Sure we almost beat Tech, but we didn't. CU at home is obviously winnable, but expecting to win on the road at OU is crazy.

It's possible. Most important thing right now, though, is to go get Oklahoma. This isn't last year's OU team.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

Re: No one can argue this has a good chance of happening!

Until we improve our guard play we will not win. You simply can't play at home and have your point guard score zero points shoot zero free throws and turn it over 5 times..... You will lose very game the rest of the season if that continues. Our Guard play has been horrible. You have a first round draft pick and can't get him the ball. It sometimes seems like just getting the ball across the half court line is a success. WE have a non shooting 2 guard playing the point and it is showing. Frustrating this team should be better. I have hope they can start winning soon starting this week. To be a good college basketball team you must have good guards.....

It's also just as possible to lose all four of our next four games. Oklahoma (improved) Colorado (actually came away impressed after watching a game of theirs) Baylor (still a threat) and Kansas State (no explanation needed)

Re: No one can argue this has a good chance of happening!

I don't love our chances at OU. They've lost their last two (@A&M & TTU), but they have started to play better basketball. That being said, it is conceivable that it could be a winnable game depending upon which OU shows up.

Naturally, I feel better about the CU game, but CU is improved this year and they played hard and with discipline. That game definitely won't be a cakewalk, and we just as easily see a loss against them.

This. If ISU plays like they did last Saturday, CU will beat ISU this Saturday.
