Any words on the recruits visits yet??

Has anyone heard anything good on the football visitors yet....

Basketball was a push for the weekend to me...Our ladies beating the longhorns, the guys having some enjoyable plays but getting whopped.

So, a lil good news from Kirksey would make this a better weekend for all us Cyclone fans!!!!

I'm eager to hear as well.

I think folks are too busy freaking out about the MBB program.

Re: Any words on the recruits visits yet??

This isn't really any new news, but apparently some florida people think he's a heck of a player. "Diamond in the rough"

    Kenneth Kirksey
Scout.com: Mainland DT Kenneth Kirksey has narrowed list with FSU on top

BTW, that Matangi Tonga DT from the west coast, he has committed to houston.. :(

I never really thought we were serious about Tonga. I think Kirksey as been option 1 or 1a for sometime.

There was a big kid that looked to be about 6-1 290 and wearing a black leather jacket that I thought was Kirksey, but somebody said he was wearing a red shirt. There looked to be more than just a few recruits to me, I wonder if anybody has a list of all that were here this week-end.

Tonga was never at the top of ISU's wish list. He only has 1 year to play.

Doubt football recruits care too much about the result of the mens basketball team. Probably a lot more interested in the fan base and atmosphere provided by ISU fans, which was solid yesterday.

That. And the way Rhoads was high-fived up Cyclone Alley.

Just pointing out that the thread you linked is from early December, just so folks don't get discouraged on our prospects of landing Kirksey. A story linked from that thread says Kirksey put Florida State at the top of his list and another poster in that thread said FSU had missed on every DL it had offered to date, but that appears to have changed since that was posted. FSU now has commits from THREE DTs, including a juco. So I don't think they are in the market for another DT at this time.

He does that with everyone during big visit weekends, it's pretty cool.

Chizz did it too, taking the recruits through the student section, except he just walked up the stairs like a robot and didn't say anything to anyone or shake hands.
