    This is epic.

Will Ferrell really explored the studio space there. Outstanding.

Nice job of Ferrell breaking out the cowbell.

    Re: Conan's Final Jam

It was good, but WF should have moved to the side a bit more and let Conan take center stage. It was Conan's last night, and WF kept getting in front of the camera and making an *** of himself.

Other than that, it was a fun show.

They had enough cameras there that they could have shown Conan more if they wanted to. I thought it was perfect. Look at the big smile on his face during the last minute or two. You can tell he's having fun.

I really hope he finds another place where he can be himself and succeed.

I was pretty impressed by Conan's playing. I had no idea he could shred.

    Re: Conan's Final Jam

Just got done watching it on the DVR. What a great show. I only watched Conan a few times on Late Night, but when he came to the Tonight Show I started watching on a regular basis. He is funny and looks like he has a lot a fun.

Here is hoping he goes someplace else and beats the pants off of Leno.

I almost shed a tear when he took the high road towards the end, thanked NBC, and said how blessed he was.

Great guy and hope he does well elsewhere.

I agree. It makes me think of the Dan McCarney press conference where he announced his resignation. Similar situations, in a way.

    Re: Conan's Final Jam

That was awesome! Conan can really play.

Who were all the musicians on stage? The guitarist from ZZ Top obviously, and Beck was on the far right. Who was everyone else?

Leno appeals to the 50+ age group, and younger people with no sense of humor.

I hope Conan goes to Fox at the same time slot and beats both guys, but I doubt it. His appeal is not for the masses like Leno is. Conan appeals to probably only 30% of the people it seems?

    Re: Conan's Final Jam

The people on stage were Will Ferrell, Conan, Beck, Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top, Ben Harper on steel guitar, Jimmy Vivino from the Tonight Show Band, Max Weinberg, Will Ferrell's wife Viveca Paulin and the rest of the Tonight Show Band.

    Re: Conan's Final Jam

Between that and conan's speech, what a way to go out. The montage earlier in the episode was definitely a bit bittersweet as well.
