Well you have experience so that's a plus. Try being a fresh graduate and basically all the jobs out there ask for x number of years experience.

NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

I would say get going on getting setup for unemployment. You never know how long it could take to land another job, and those checks can help pay the bills until then.

Been there. Had to move to Texas out of school because it was the only place that was hiring new grads in my field.

For many people, I think you have to bite the bullet and put in some time at a place related to what you want to do in order to get that experience. Then you can qualify for a broader spectrum of other options.

Sit back, collect some unemployment for a while and get yourself back together.

The red flag in your post is they said you took too long to type. Did they tell you this a couple of weeks ago so that you had time to improve. If not, you have a pretty good case if they challenge your unemployment.

And who is that woman? I don't recognize her.

I thought he said the reason would be too long to type, not that he typed too slowly.

I haven't read all the posts, but I think he meant the reason for firing would take too long to type.

Definitely get the unemployment going. You paid into it, you might as well get the benefit. Then get your resume in order, and get it on-line.
