    Is Gilstrap injured?

Or is he just continually getting cramps? He sure gutted it out, and looked to be pretty uncomfortable out there at times. This is probably my chief concern going into the next few games. It's going to be really tough if he's not 100%.

    Re: Is Gilstrap injured?

The real question is Brackins injured? He is not preforming at all, he is getting worse as the competition gets better. He used to score 20 points a game and now we are just hoping to get 10.

That may be your real question, but it's certainly not mine. Perhaps you can go find a Brackins thread to post in?

I've noticed Gilstrap is a huge drama queen with his injuries. When the ball is in his hands, he is ok. When it's time to go play defense he is hobbling around, gritting his teeth. Showing everyone how much pain he is in.

Really? Looked like he was in a serious amount of pain when he shot those 2 freethrows last night. I doubt he was feeling great when he had to sit out for an extended period of time to close the first half, the same time our team was getting whipped on the court.

But it's a contender. That's all a guy can ask for at this point.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

    Re: Is Gilstrap injured?

My guess is second half cramps. Looks like he needs more gatorade. We need him 100%.

Let my Fred's Posse Ride: Georges, Naz, Hogue, Bryce, Nader, Monte, Matt, and McKay.

I'm going to throw out the suggestion that they put him on a gatoraid IV from now until the KU game.

He's playing on adrenaline when he has the ball. All pain goes away for that short time.

It's definitely cramps and he's had them all year long. Guy needs to drink nothing by Gatorade everyday I think.

    Re: Is Gilstrap injured?

I've posted this before but Gilstrap has cramped up in at least 5 games this year. Even last night my wife noticed and commented "Geez, he cramps every game."

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

    Re: Is Gilstrap injured?

Once you get a bad cramp, it will keep hitting you. It's an injured muscle when it's really bad. After running a marathon, you understand the nagging cramp. If it's tight and you keep playing, chances are that you have torn some tissue. This will be a problem the rest of the year. Hydration is not going to fix him. I'm pretty sure we have a competent training staff that understands his issue.

Well, I guess that explains it - thanks!
