AMES, Iowa – The 21st-ranked Iowa State women’s basketball team finally found the balance it has been looking for since the start of Big 12 Conference play. All but one ISU player who saw the court scored for the Cyclones as they knocked off Kansas, 53-42, Wednesday night at Hilton Coliseum.
With the win, Iowa State improved to 14-3 overall and 2-2 in the Big 12, while the Jayhawks, which were picked to finish second in the Big 12 preseason poll, dropped to 11-6 overall and 1-3 in the league.
