With the reduction in available players, I am afraid we are going to see us go back to slowing the game down and reducing pressure like the last three years when players were short. I hope not because it is more fun to watch an 80 point game than what we saw in Nebraska!
If this is in another thread the mods can move it. I am not able to keep up on all the threads in the last 24 hours!
I think we'll try to run tonight, Tech gives up the most points of all the Big12 teams, and that plays to our up-tempo style more than it would trying to slow it down. But I do agree that I think, against KU and beyond, we'll probably slow it down.
Slowing down may be the way to go. One thing I do want to see is GMac use his timeouts to affect momentum and to get players rest. Not just horde them for the end of the game when we are down by ten. We only used 8 players at Nebraska so really it is not that different of a situation if Colvin plays.
