I assumed this was supposed to be in the "Football" forum, rather than "Mens Basketball," so I moved it.

    TY for the update. :P

I really will be surprised if this ends up over 33K. My guess remains at 32,500.

weak. We should sell 37500 this year and we are not close. Look who is comming to town. It's worth it for just those 3 games.

If we only make 32,500 that means during April, May, June, July, and August we will only sell an average of 12.7 season tickets per day. I realize that May through mid-July could be a slower period, but I would actually be shocked if that's all we could sell. I'm hoping 35,000+.

*Edit - Hmm... post 666, I hope I didn't just but a hex on it!

I am expecting some jump after May 1st because that is when the remaining End Zone seats go on sale. There may be a good number of people that are waiting to see if they can get some of those that are left. When those sale out, which they will at only $125 per, those that dont get end zone tickets may buy other seats.

It would be nice if we could break the record and get a press release out before it gets buried in the media when UI hires their coach...someone pony up for the remaining tickets.

I wonder how many of those endzone tickets will really be available. You have to think that all the ISU fans who bought will renew at that cheap price. So the non-renewals will probably come from husker fans from last year. Those things are going to be snapped up quickly...some from hawk fans. If I were Jamie, I'd make all season ticket holders aware of exactly (the minute) when those things go on sale ahead of time.

They will probably break the record by the end of this week. By the time the spring game hits (or shortly after when some additional endzone seats go on sale) we should have around 31,000. And, there's an additional 800 student tickets going on sale this fall. That's 31,800. You're saying that all summer, ISU is only going to sell 700 tickets??

I think that there's going to be a nice jump in August when some people finally figure out that Pollard will not cave with the iowa tickets. I'm betting that they are pushing 35k by the time we kick off the first game.

    Re: 30,616

Almost all end zone seats were renewed already. Were not going to pick many up that way. The best thing we can do is put the pressure on ourselves to try and recruit at least one person to get a season ticket. Doesn't seem like much but if we all pulled our weight than we would have a sold out stadium!!

Hope I'm wrong and we break 35k...hell, I hope we break 40k, but I just don't see either happening. Given last season's results and the bump in ticket prices, it is a small miracle we are even going to break the record. If the team shows up at all this fall...watch out to push 40k next year.

    Re: 30,616

There are a lot of people waiting to see if Pollard will cave on this Iowa thing. Including a hell of a lot of Iowa fans, who would glady play the price to see one of the few big games they have on their schedule.
If you think about it, its not a bad deal for a hawk fan. If by some chance they defend the cyhawk trophy, they will have seen their team win a big game. If they lose, excitement about our team will skyrocket, and with no singlegame tickets available, there will be plenty of Cyclone fans looking for some tickets.
