    Anbody Own Bowflex SelectTech Dumbells?

If so, how do you like them? Is the space savings and cost savings worth not having a full set of dumbells? I have a gym membership so go there to use their machines but have a bench set and curl bar at home I can use in case I have issues getting to the gym so I was looking at dumbell sets to add to what I have so I can be more versatile in my home workouts. Anyhow, any info you guys have on these will be much appreciated!

I don't know anything about Bowflex SelectTech Dumbells, but I have the Ironmaster adjustable dumbells and I think they are fantastic. I've had them for about 5 or 6 years and they still work great. I've recommended them to my brother and another friend of mine and both of them also like them.

Re: Anbody Own Bowflex SelectTech Dumbells?

I bought a set of the Bowflex adjustables a couple years ago and I liked them fine until one of them broke and I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it yet. Suddenly it becomes rather worthless.

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Do they not have a CS department that could help you? I'm not too worried about that unless they are complete garbage. I work part time at a sporting goods store that carries these so get a pretty good discount and they will also let anything be returned that doesn't function the way it's supposed to so wouldn't have to worry about the manufacturer not coming through if something happened to them.

The nice thing about the bowflex is that when you no longer use it (a few months) and you want to dry your freshly washed shirts you can spread them out nicely and they won't dry wrinkled.

I don't think I have to worry about the not using them in a few months part as I'm not just one of those New Year's resolution workout people. I've been doing it pretty consistanly for well over a year now. Not that that is a long time but I think it's long enough to know that I'm not going to quite any time soon. Although these could get clothes hung on them as I'll just have them as a back up plan for the days I can't go to the gym and want to get in a quick workout.
