AMES, Iowa The Iowa State men's golf team travels to another tournament out west when it makes its ninth consecutive appearance at the Stevinson Ranch Invitational March 26-27 in Turlock, Calif. The Cyclones are coming off an 11th-place finish at the Ron Moore Invitational where they set the ninth-best 54-hole tournament score in school history with an 869. ISU will be among 15 teams in the field at the par-72, 7,206-yard Stevinson Ranch Course hosted by Colorado. The Buffaloes broke a string of six titles in seven years by Kansas last year by taking the team title, shooting even despite the cancellation of the final round due to rain. Kansas State has ended as the runner-up the last four years. Action begins Monday at 8 a.m. with 36 rounds and resumes Tuesday with the final round.
