    Vegas Airport Transportations

Just booked a flight to Vegas for my buddies bachelor party. We're getting in about 2:30 on a Thursday afternoon. Anyone have any recommendations on travel from airport to the MGM? I've always heard Limos are pretty cheap, but wasn't sure if anyone has any they have used in the past.

    Thanks guys!

just go out to either the cab or limo lines outside the airport. there are signs, and you'll be good. unless of course you want to arrange with a service ahead of time.

This right here is the truth. Pimp it.

No real need to waste money reserving limos for the nights either. There will almost always be one outside of any place you go. Ask the driver if they have hookups at any clubs to skip lines or at any......um.......other places you might be interested in. They almost always know people all around town. It never hurts to ask.

One more thing. At the end of the evening, if you are all out of money and need get from one place to another cheap, try "the deuce." It's the complete, polar opposite of a limo on the "pimpness" scale, but it's a good time if you've got a group. You can bring your drinks on board as well. Just an idea.

    Re: Vegas Airport Transportations

sometimes you might get lucky and one of the drivers got stiffed and will offer you a deal before you get to the cab line. I've only been to vegas once but both to and from the airport we got deals like that and it was way cheaper than a cab was

    Re: Vegas Airport Transportations

If you didnt know... the MGM is right up the street from the airport and less than 5 minutes away. One of the first times we took a cab from the airport they took us on the highway and almost doubled the cost.
When we were there before the bowl game, we took some pics for some guys getting a limo ride to their hotel while we waited for the rental car bus. My wife thinks its $15 a person for the limo. Not sure though.

geez, you can practically throw your luggage to MGM from the airport. Just get a fricking cab at the cab line for 10-15 bucks and put 4 guys in each. If you can't afford that you shouldn't have booked a trip to vegas.

    Re: Vegas Airport Transportations

Thursday afternoon shouldn't be bad for the cab line. Friday afternoons you can wait a couple of hours. Sucks. Cab line is off to the right of the baggage claim from when you come down from the terminal.

The limos are at the end of the baggage straight out the back.

    Cool Re: Vegas Airport Transportations

My wife and i got a limo, I think it was $65 - $85 for an hour. It was nice because it was our first trip to Vegas and since we had it for an hour he drove us around the strip, stopped at the Vegas sign and took our picture and other small stuff like that. The limo also had alcohol for us which was sweet......

Whatever you do in Vegas, just stay off the stairs behind the Harrah's parking garage!!! Saw my first Las Vegas hooker there---actually about 12 of them...

The deuce wants nothing to do with your drinks. you will be asked to throw them away before you get on

This will be my 6th or 7th trip to Vegas. Money isn't the problem. A cab is going to cost $20. Cool. Not bad at all. If a Limo is going to cost $40-50, that is the way to go to "arrive in style" so to say. If you were going to tell me they were $100, then no, it's not really worth it.
