    AP rankings

I understand ISU not being ranked in the AP poll, especially since they were not ranked last week and lost since then. However, why is Kansas still getting more votes? ISU played Nebraska very tough while Kansas hasn't done anything for the past two weeks.

Anyway here is the AP rankings
    8. A&M (up 2)
    9. Baylor (down 4)
    11. Nebraska (up 1)
    13. Oklahoma (up 1)
    15. Oklahoma St (up 8)
    19. Texas (down 4)
    30. Kansas (down 6)
    31. Iowa State (down 3)

    Re: AP rankings

Kansas has played a much tougher schedule than we have (a rating of 37 vs. ISU's 211), and their RPI is 28, while ours is 52.

So! They have lost two straight to teams they should have beat if they are really deserving of a top 25 vote, and their loss to Kansas St was just embarrassing. ISU really hasn't done much either, but we played the #12 team in the country much closer than Kansas played the worst team in the Big 12. In fact ISU's point spread was 8, Kansas' point spread was 24.
