    Weis to the Chiefs

Weis has just been hired at the OC for the Kansas City Chiefs. As I Chiefs fan I am not sure about this hire. I think it will be good in the long run. Hopefully he is a better OC then a head college coach.

    Re: Weis to the Chiefs

If I was a Chiefs fan, I would be thrilled. He is an offensive genius. Just look at what he did with the Patriots. Why would you not be excited about this?

    Re: Weis to the Chiefs

I think this is a good hire and I don't even like the Chiefs! Weis is an offensive genius and it showed and New England when he was there. The Chiefs still need an O'Line though and possibly 1 more receiver to compliment Bowe. It really hurt them when Gonzalez went to Atlanta.

One question though, why is this thread under Iowa State Mens Basketball? Is it b/c he looks like he has about 5 of them around his waist at all times???

I just hope that he isn't past his prime with the lackluster years at Notre Dame.

    Re: Weis to the Chiefs

I think it is a great move for both parties. Really big hire for the Chiefs IMO. He will be great for the O as he was for NE when he was there.

    Re: Weis to the Chiefs

How can you dislike this hire? No wonder the Chiefs suck if their fans don't like this.
I also heard Romeo may be headed that way.

Last I heard Mangini was still the coach of the Browns

Great hire, he has a lot to prove and will do well there.

Except for Clausens first year his offenses were very good.

He's a very, very good OC.
