Honestly, I didn't think we would even tie it for the second OT and when we did, I didn't think that we would win in the second OT.

We are going to get nailed on Wednesday.

It was a gritty win. It's something we're missing. Maybe this will set the tone for the rest of the season. We'll see how it goes once the Big XII starts.

I had a good feeling heading into the second OT due to the fact that two of their starters had fouled out.

Let's think positively here. The team found a way to win a close game! Something we did not do against UNI and Northwestern. Games like these are good learning expiriences and confidence builders. Another close loss could have been another setback mentally for this team. Got to hand it to Gilstrap, he really stepped up at the end of the game to seal the deal!

I agree that it's very important that they managed to win a tough, close game. The way everyone talks around here, it's surprising when you remember that this team is on a four game winning streak, and is 10-3. Duke will be a huge challenge, and they will have to play their best game to date to have a chance at it.

Wow! Where you at the game? Houston was ready to quit

and they did in the 2nd ot. Top 2 players out, and they seemed tired and tired of playing this particular game. Im not taking anything away from the Clones but to say you thought the Clones were going to get whipped in 2nd ot is insane and not observational. I think the crowd coming out of their coma was the final nail in coffin.
