    houston burning the shot clock reminds me of

    playing against english valley in high school. they would stand at half court and pass the ball back and forth until the defense made a mistake trying to pressure them.

    they routinely had game with final scores in the 20's and 30's. great equalizer of talent, but what boring games.

    I dont know why McD wasnt slowing it down a lot more in the 1st half. He was letting the guys run with Houston when thats what they want to do.

    i want to say there was a year or two where they ended up around third in the conference, but they did pull some huge upsets here and there. i can't say for certain but i think they knocked lynnville sully out of the playoffs when they were a ranked team.
