    Toronto Raptors

This is the first time in forever that they've been good. Finally I'll have something to cheer about. I swear I'm the only Raps fan in Iowa. If you get a chance watch the highlights of their game against the Magic tonight. Bosh and TJ Ford had some amazing plays tonight. Also playing for the Raps is former longhorn PJ Tucker, Candace Parker's (Lady Vols) brother Anthony, and our favorite at Iowa State Morris Peterson of the Michigan State team that knocked us out in the elite eight (he's alright now)

They were "ok" when Damon Stoudamire and early into Carter's stint up there but yeah, it's been awhile. Bosh is quietly a big time player.

Steve Nash. Corey Koskie and every other hockey player.

From an entertainment point of view. They both stink!

Unless your in Montreal's red light district!

So, every 1 Raptor win is only like .75 win American?? I believe that's close to the exchange rate.

    Re: Toronto Raptors

For you Raps haters: They took care of business tonight as they beat the crap out of the Nuggets easilly beating them by 27 and not playing Bosh or Ford in the fourth quarter.

While I'm not into the NBA very much, the Mavericks are really starting to grow on me. There just fun to watch - so many weapons.

Mavs/Suns is quickly becoming one of my FAVORITE matchups of all time...and the strange thing is I have a hard time picking which one to root for, cuz I love them both.

    Re: Toronto Raptors

Both are fun teams to watch. I just lean towards Mavs being that I'm in Texas. I keep trying to get into the Rockets but I just haven't enjoyed watching them yet.

yeah I feel ya on that one...I used to love the rockets with Drexler and Olajuwon, very rarely do you get two guys who went to college at Houston and then they play for the NBA's franchise in Houston...I also liked watching them when Barkley was there too, plus they had AWESOME uniforms after their championships. But now they just aren't much more than McGrady...Yao is much improved, but still frustrating to watch, bcuz a guy of his size should absolutely DOMINATE everyone, but he doesn't...I mean he got blocked by Nate Robinson...

    Re: Toronto Raptors

Not the only Raptors fan, but maybe the only NBA fan. The playoffs are entertaining, even though they take 3 months to play but the reg. seaon is a waste of time. The Mavs and Suns play great ball, but everyone else basically BLOWS, especially that ***** KOBE.
Im a big MJ fan, i wat at his basketball camp in Chicago in 93 when his father disappeared. It hasnt been the same since he left the Bulls or back before Shaq went to the Lakers.

I can agree with some of that. I wouldn't mind seeing the regular NBA season (and the MLB) get much shorter.

But then again there's a ton of money involved so it will never happen.
