Great news to finally get a post player in this class. ESPN has him rated 92 so he must have some skills. Welcome aboard Jordan.

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

He's listed at 6'9" and a PF on ESPN. Is he going to be a 5 or 4? Dendy role?

ESPN rates him a 92 and says he is a Power Forward

I don't really care if it says he is a 5 or a 4. If he can rebound and score that is all I need. ESPN thing says he continues to improve and add weight. That is what I like to hear.

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Does this mean the class of 2010 is now a full class?

Hopefully Pomlee can contribute next year and maybe this guy can redshirt. Although we are lacking big bodies next year so a redshirt might not be an option.

Re: 2010 BASKETBALL COMMITMENT - Jordan Railey

Railey had 27 points and 9 rebounds during a tourney game a few days ago. He followed that up with 21 and 7 yesterday. Some comments from the game chat:

Jordan Railey just had one hell of a tip-in for two. Incredible body control on that play as he goes underneath the hoop like a player would do for the reverse lay-up before tipping the ball back behind his head, blind off the glass for the basket. Nice.

Railey comes back into the game, and immediately makes an impact as he catches and alley-oop from a teammate and hammers it through the hole for the two.

Beaverton got some amazing offense out of Jordan Railey including a reverse put-back dunk that brought the entire crowd to their feet.

    Winning cures all.

Sounds like he is pretty raw. I definatly trust McDermott to develop him though..
