    Massive line/Wildcat await the Cyclones

Here's a look at Minnesota's huge offensive line. There's also been a lot of talk about the Gophers throwing the Wildcat at the ISU defense.

    Enjoy.

Is their O-line any bigger than ISU's? I can't imagine that their O-line is going to throw us anymore fits than anyone else.

South Dakota State did okay against their line.

No Decker either... That guy is one of the best receivers in college football.

Big and slow offensive lineman with a unproven wildcat formation does not scare me.

Neal is only giving up 150 lbs to that fat SOB. Why not play 4 DT's if they try to run over us?

So they're basically going to see the same thing they see everyday in practice.

Its the same offensive line they've had all year, and their offense has sucked all year. And they're going to switch offensive schemes now? Haha I'm liking this more and more...

Re: Massive line/Wildcat await the Cyclones

So they are basically going to give up on the pass and run 85% of the time.
If they take that route...I like our scheme(and players) just fine.

The key to this game will be getting them in 3rd and 6 or greater. We can then come with better blitzes or put Raven at DE to get a rush off the edge.

Re: Massive line/Wildcat await the Cyclones

I think it would be great if the Gophers tried to run at ISU. ISU is not very good on defense at all, but the run defense has been much better than the pass defense all year.

Re: Massive line/Wildcat await the Cyclones

Massive line and a more threatening wildcat awaits the Gophers. ISU's line is huge and Arnaud receiving the snap threatens run or pass on every down. Gophers are favored in the Tampa trib this AM (2 pts). Never thought I would say this when the year started, but I think our defense will be the difference. Cyclones win by a TD.

Re: Massive line/Wildcat await the Cyclones

They've got one fatass who probably can't pass block to save his life. The rest of their line is average sized. I have seen their wildcat before and it didn't seem to be particularly more effective than any other team that ran it.
