Current road conditions for Dec. 25th

Sorry, I know there is a thread started that might be related to this.

Does anybody know how the roads are from Urbandale to Ankeny? My son is insisting is going to Ankeny, and I would like to know.

    Thanks for any info.

My neighbor took the back roads from Ankeny to Johnston this morning. Said they were fine. Coming home this afternoon was a bit rough though. We just decide not to go from Ankeny to Ames until tomorrow morning. Not worth the risk....suppose its time to bust out the wine then!

Just went from Des Moines back to Indianola, and the roads were ok. Not full speed, but nothing to get too excited about if you're careful.
